One of the ways that I think is easiest to raise funds and awareness for your charity is to hold a bake sale. People like to eat and they don't mind spending money if they are able to enjoy a treat and do something good for the planet or to help someone with a worthy cause.

I've include links to websites that have terrific checklists for holding bake sales. Not every idea may work for you and I always recommend starting small so that you don't feel overwhelmed by the project. Ask for volunteers to help you (and their parents) so that you are not left doing all the baking and planning. Set your date and then start planning! And remember...taste testing your baking is a perk of planning the event.
