Ask yourself what interests you and what you care about. Consider all the time you spend researching or talking about something. Whatever it is that lights you up and that you could research or talk about for hours...that's the thing to dive into and see how it can become something were you can share your expertise, your interest, your desire to make positive change happen a reality. When it comes to activism, it starts with asking the question, "What is happening in the world?" The next question is "If I could change the world, what would I do? CREATING YOUR MISSION STATEMENT FOR YOUR CAUSE

AfriOceans proactively encourages and lobbies for commercial, corporate and government policies and practices that provide sustainable marine conservation. By aligning with others that share our vision, and through conservation research, and compelling education and awareness initiatives, we are making a difference in preserving our precious marine resources. We call upon all people, particularly the young, to aspire to the long-term conservation of the oceans off the African continent.
