Earlier this summer, I was contacted by Ken Jones, the founder of the International A-Team for Wildlife. He asked me to join the international A-Team. I was very excited about the opportunity because I loved what Ken was doing. I wanted to spread his message with my community.
So this fall, I started an A-Team for Wildlife club at my school. We are called "The Conservationists" and our parent leader is my mom, Susan, and often my teacher Mrs. MacLean, who is an amazing conservationist herself, attends our club meetings. We have such amazing members. I can see the passion inside them, and all the ideas and information they know and are ready to share. One of our members is really interested and knowledgeable about reptiles and amphibians. He shares facts about all these animals, and brings in a different species each week. Organizing this club has been such a rewarding experience for me. I love seeing our members learn and become more informed about endangered wildlife and ways to protect them. I know that our planet is in good hands. Not only are children our future, but they are our present.

Congratulations on your new Local A-Team. Welcome new members! Remember, we are all in this together, because "Animals Need More Friends!" Let me know when you have a team name and who your Adult Volunteer Leader is going to be. Have fun, and 1.Learn, 2. Share, and 3. Act!
